Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Stayzeef Industries LLC ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of FPV OTG — our Android app and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What FPV OTG is

FPV OTG displays and records the video signal from a USB (UVC) receiver connected to your Android device, and lets you cut that footage into a Short. It is a viewer and recorder. It does not fly, control, arm, disarm or communicate with your aircraft, and it is not part of your control link.

2. Safety, and flying responsibly

• Do not rely on FPV OTG to fly safely. The picture you see is a receiver's analogue or digital output decoded by consumer hardware and rendered by a phone. It can lag, tear, freeze, drop out, or stop entirely — because of interference, a loose OTG cable, a receiver fault, an Android power-management decision, thermal throttling, a low battery, an incoming call, or a bug in this app.
• You are solely responsible for the safe and lawful operation of your aircraft, including maintaining visual line of sight where required, using a spotter, and complying with every applicable aviation rule — FAA, EASA, CAA or your national equivalent — as well as local privacy, land-use and trespass law.
• FPV OTG is not a certified flight instrument. Telemetry shown in the app (phone temperature, phone battery, storage remaining, resolution, connection status) describes your phone, not your aircraft, and is provided for convenience only.
• Do not operate a phone as your only means of seeing where the aircraft is going in any jurisdiction that requires unaided visual observation.
• Recording is best-effort. Storage guardrails, Smart Static Auto-Stop, thermal warnings and file-integrity handling reduce the chance of a lost clip; they do not eliminate it. Treat any single recording as expendable and back up footage you care about.

You accept all risk arising from your use of the Service in connection with flying.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Your device, your footage

You keep full ownership of everything you record, import, edit and export with FPV OTG. We claim no rights over it, and we do not receive it — recordings, snapshots, imported media and projects stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

Because your footage lives only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. We cannot recover a clip lost to a deleted file, a failed export, a wiped phone or an uninstall.

You are responsible for what you record and for what you do with it, including obtaining any consent required to film people or property where you fly, and respecting the rules of the platform you upload to.

5. Hardware compatibility

FPV OTG depends on hardware we do not make: your phone, its USB-OTG implementation, your cable, and your UVC receiver. Android devices vary widely in USB host support, and some receivers do not follow the UVC specification faithfully. We do not guarantee that the Service will work with any particular device or receiver, and a combination that fails is not a defect in the Service. If it does not work on your setup, request a refund through Google Play.

6. Free tier and ads

Flying, recording, snapshotting and the entire Shorts editor are free and unlimited. Free users are shown one full-screen interstitial ad immediately after stopping a DVR recording. You agree not to block, intercept, spoof or otherwise interfere with ad delivery. Ads are served by Google AdMob under its own terms.

7. Pro — Lifetime Access

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks:

1. exporting or sharing a finished Short from the editor;
2. advanced DSP colour controls for the receiver; and
3. removal of interstitial ads.

Purchases are processed by Google Play and recorded by RevenueCat. Payments, billing questions and refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies — we cannot process a refund ourselves, though we will help you find the right route. Restore, purchase history and refund requests are available in the app under Settings → Manage purchase.

"Lifetime" means for as long as we operate FPV OTG on the platform you bought it on; it is not a guarantee that the app will exist forever, and it does not cover a separate app or a different platform.

We may change the price, the contents of the free tier, or which features are gated. Changes will not remove a feature you have already paid to unlock.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or in violation of aviation, privacy or surveillance law;
• record or distribute footage of people or private property where doing so is unlawful;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it;
• circumvent, disable or defeat the Pro entitlement checks, the ad component, or any other technical restriction;
• redistribute, resell or repackage the app or any modified version of it.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Google Analytics on this website, and the Android share sheet. Your use of those is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Where you share a clip to another app, that app's terms govern what happens next.

FPV OTG bundles open-source software; the applicable licences are listed in the app under Settings → Open-source licences.

10. Our intellectual property

The FPV OTG name, logo, app, website and their content are owned by Stayzeef Industries LLC and may not be reused without permission. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We work hard to keep the feed stable and recording reliable, but we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with your hardware, or that any recording will be complete or recoverable.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stayzeef Industries LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, footage, aircraft, equipment, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stayzeef Industries LLC from any claim, loss or demand — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your use of the Service, your footage, your operation of an aircraft, or your violation of these Terms or of any law.

15. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory statutory rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, including any right to a remedy for a product that is not as described. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
